Metro Bus first accident

Lahore: A Metro bus met an accident hours after the Pakistan’s biggest transport service was inaugurated on Sunday.
No passenger was hurt in the incident.
Media reports say the bus having number 13 struck with a pillar on its way and its left side was damaged as a result.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Metro Bus Service—including 27 bus stations—on Sunday in Nishtar Colony.
The ceremony was attended by diplomats of various countries, including a high-level Turkish delegation, headed by Turkish deputy prime minister.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was also present on the occasion.
The project costs Rs30 billion, according to the Punjab government—and has been completed in record time of eleven months.
The 27-kilometer long journey from Gajjumata to Shahdara, which took two hours earlier, would now take 55 minutes because of the new bus service.
For the first month, the bus service would be free of charge for the general public.
