To bend under pressure, to give in to popular opinion, to surrender to opportunism is the hallmark of the weak, the fearful the coward...but to stand on a principle and bear the pain of popular backlash and go through the anguish of isolation is what is the hallmark of greatness..So the principle of democracy will always be greater than the temptation to quick grab of power...Salute to all those who could have given in to the easy way but chose fight for the right....
